1994 was Emanuele's first year with Audi; on the first attempt, he did win the Italian championship in his Audi 80 Competition.
In addition to the Italian Championship Emanuele also started in the German Championship for Touring Cars. He finished 3rd in the German Championship and 1st in the Italian.
