The Race
The first lap sees Pirro and Alboreto in their Audi R8Rs hot on the tail of the Doyle-Risi Ferrari 333 SP s/n 017.
The Doyle-Risi Ferraris on the pace lap.  333 SP s/n 018 is ahead of s/n 017. They are followed by the BMW V12 LM of Price/Bscher.
The Doran/Matthews Ferrari 333 SP s/n 026 leads the Champion Porsche 911 GT1 Evo into turn 3.

The Pitstops
Lienhard comes in for an afternoon pitstop with his Doran/Lista 333 SP s/n 025.

Nightfall
Alex Caffi patiently waiting while mechanics work feverishly to repair the right rear suspension of the #12 Doyle-Risi 333 SP s/n 018.  The car ended up spending over 30 minutes in the pits, loosing 18 laps and dropping from 3rd to 7th position.  By the end of the race, it had moved up to 6th place.
The #38 Champion Porsche 911 GT1 Evo driven by Boutsen/Wollek/Muller slowing forthe Hairpin during the eleventh hour of the race.  It finished 4th overall between the two Audi R8Rs.
The Doyle-Risi 333 SP s/n 018 is finally fixed and back out onto the track.
